Welcome to the Richmond/Burke Counties Workforce Investment System's One-Stop Web page. Currently there are one-stop facilities at the Department of Labor Career Center in downtown Augusta, in south Augusta at the Goodwill Industries on Peach Orchard Road , and one located at Augusta Technical College in Waynesboro. Additionally, there is a mobile computer lab that visits sites throughout Burke County and a computer site in Keysville. All of these facilities fall under the direction and guidance of the Workforce Investment Board.

Our One-Stop Career Centers help people manage their careers with little inconvenience. As a common place to find out about employment opportunities, training, educational programs, and social programs there is no longer an added burden of traveling to different locations. By visiting the One-Stop Career Center, job seekers can receive instruction on such things as how to conduct a job search, writing a resume, or interviewing skills. Information about employment trends, student financial aid, and eligible training providers is also available.

For job seekers who like to work alone the One-Stop Career Center offers job listings, resume writing software, computer and internet access, fax and phone access, job-seeking books and videos, and information about job training and community services.
